The festival celebrates the rich and colourful history of the Singapore River, once the focal point of trading activity in Singapore. Muse was the appointed event organiser for the 2009, 2010 and 2015 editions.

Project Objective
The aim of the festival was to create awareness of the rich cultural and lifestyles offerings of the Singapore River. By generating buzz and interest, the goal was to increase local and international visitor numbers, visitor spending and business activities along the river.
Project Highlights
Singapore River Festival 2009 anchor performance, Floating Dreams, a large-scale floating display that moved in sync with an original soundtrack.
Singapore River Festival 2010 anchor performance, Air, an aerial spectacular that combined acrobatics, aerial performances, dance and pyrotechnics that is performed to an original soundtrack.
Singapore River Festival 2015 anchor performance. Written, directed and produced in collaboration with acclaimed Spanish performing arts company, La Fura dels Baus.
Developed and designed brand identity and creatives including the festival logo, which remains in use today.
Worked with stakeholders across all three quays along the Singapore River to create unique events to attract visitors.
Create targeted business promotions and cross-marketing opportunities with various local businesses along the Singapore River.
Activated public places along the river with original placemaking concepts by local artists and designers.
